These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Printfor Reset mobile app for Android and iOS, the Printfor Reset desktop app for macOS and Windows, and the website reset.printfor.az (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by KiberKod MMC (KiberKod Texnologiya), Republic of Azerbaijan ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
Printfor Reset works with supported Epson inkjet printers over Wi‑Fi (local network) or a USB connection. Depending on the printer model, it can:
- show the printer's status, including the waste ink counter level, ink levels and errors;
- run a nozzle check and head cleaning;
- reset the waste ink counter, which stops the printer from blocking printing with a "Service Required" or "ink pad at the end of its service life" message.
Status, nozzle check and head cleaning are free. A full waste ink counter reset is a paid operation. Which functions are available for a specific model is shown on the website and in the app.
Printfor Reset is an independent product. Epson and EcoTank are trademarks of Seiko Epson Corporation; we are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Epson.
2. Your account
- To use the Service you need an account. You must provide accurate information (name, surname, email address and phone number) and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at info@printfor.az if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract under the law that applies to you. If you are under that age, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by writing to info@printfor.az.
3. Resets, prices and payment
- Paid operations are paid for with "resets" — units of balance on your account. The number of resets an operation requires is shown in the app before you start it.
- Prices are set in Azerbaijani manat (AZN). The website and the app may also show the price in another currency (for example USD or TRY) converted at the official rate of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan; the amount and currency shown on the bank's payment page is the amount you are charged. Volume discounts, if offered, are shown before purchase.
- Payments are made by bank card through the secure payment page of Kapital Bank. Your card details are entered directly on the bank's page and never reach our servers.
- Resets are credited to your balance after the bank confirms the payment. Resets are a prepaid balance for use within the Service only; they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.
- Promotional codes and bonus resets may have their own conditions and have no cash value.
4. Failed operations and refunds
- If a paid operation does not complete — for example, the printer does not confirm the reset, the connection is lost or an error occurs — the reset spent on it is automatically returned to your balance.
- A reset used for an operation that completed successfully cannot be refunded or returned, including when you no longer need the printer, chose the wrong printer, or the printer later shows other faults unrelated to the counter.
- If you believe you were charged in error, or there is a problem with a payment, write to info@printfor.az with the date and amount. We review every request individually and in accordance with the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This does not limit any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.
5. Your responsibility for the printer
- Use the Service only with printers you own or are authorised to service, and only with models the Service lists as supported. The app checks the model before an operation; do not try to force operations on unsupported or incorrectly identified printers.
- The waste ink pads are a physical part. Resetting the counter does not empty, clean or replace the pads. When a printer has reached its limit, the pads are usually saturated; continued printing without replacing or cleaning them, or fitting an external waste ink tank, may cause ink to leak and damage the printer or its surroundings. We strongly recommend having the pads replaced or cleaned, or an external waste ink tank fitted, after a reset — especially on heavily used printers.
- Servicing a printer with third‑party tools may affect the manufacturer's warranty. If your printer is still under Epson warranty, check the warranty terms or contact Epson before using the Service.
- Keep the printer switched on and connected and do not interrupt an operation while it is running.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or resell the apps, their keys or any part of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- interfere with the Service, bypass payment, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts, or overload the Service with automated requests;
- create accounts with false information or use another person's account or payment card without permission.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error‑free, or that every printer of a listed model (for example, with a different firmware or regional version) will respond as expected. We may add, change or remove features and supported models, and release updates; an older app version may need to be updated to keep working.
8. Limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for damage resulting from worn or saturated waste ink pads, ink leakage, hardware faults, use with unsupported printers, interruption of an operation by the user, or failure to follow the recommendations in section 5.
- Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for resets in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or where we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason. Sections 4, 5, 8 and 10 continue to apply after termination.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably — please contact us first. If a dispute cannot be resolved this way, it will be decided by the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
